Close encounters of the Cadillac kind

This weekend I had my first encounter with a Cadillac (1960 model) and what an impressive car it is!  I'm definitely not a car person, but this is more than a car.  The length of 2 small cars, impeccably finished and stylish . .  I couldn't take my eyes of it!

Shame the photos make it look so much smaller, it's vast.

Now I know what the fuss is all about.  They certainly don't make them like they used to.
